TESTING EQUIPMENT ASSISTANCE SCHEME

TESTING EQUIPMENT ASSISTANCE SCHEME – EMPOWERING MSMES IN HARYANA TO DELIVER ZERO-DEFECT PRODUCTS

INTRODUCTION

The Testing Equipment Assistance Scheme, launched under the Haryana Enterprises & Employment Policy – 2020, is a flagship initiative by the Government of Haryana. Its primary aim is to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by enhancing their quality control capabilities through financial support for acquiring modern testing equipment.

As India moves towards self-reliance and global manufacturing competitiveness, quality assurance becomes a cornerstone for MSME success. This scheme plays a crucial role in strengthening the quality infrastructure of MSMEs, thereby ensuring that their products meet both national and international standards.

Why Testing Equipment Matters for MSMEs

In today’s competitive marketplace, especially for businesses engaged in manufacturing, quality assurance is not optional—it’s critical. With consumer expectations and regulatory requirements on the rise, MSMEs must ensure that their products are safe, reliable, and of high quality.

Testing equipment helps enterprises:

Conduct accurate analysis of raw materials and finished products

Comply with domestic and global industry standards

Reduce production errors and product returns

Build customer trust and expand into new markets

However, setting up a state-of-the-art testing facility requires significant investment. That’s where the Testing Equipment Assistance Scheme provides a much-needed boost.

OBJECTIVE OF THE SCHEME

The core objective of the Testing Equipment Assistance Scheme is to:

Facilitate the installation and modernization of testing labs within MSME units

Ensure product consistency and "Zero Defect" manufacturing

Promote adoption of best practices in quality management

Support enterprises in achieving international certifications like ISO, CE, etc.

This aligns with Haryana’s broader vision of transforming its industrial base into a hub for quality-centric, globally competitive manufacturing.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The scheme is open to all Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises operating within the geographical boundaries of Haryana, provided they meet the following eligibility conditions:

NATURE OF ASSISTANCE

Financial Subsidy:

The scheme offers 50% reimbursement of the cost incurred in purchasing eligible testing equipment, capped at 20 lakh per annum per unit.
